CitySpire Center, in the foreground, is the tallest mixed-use tower, and eleventh tallest building, in New York City. The tower is surrounded by, from left to right, 712 5th Avenue, Sony Tower (behind 712 5th), Citigroup Center, 399 Park Avenue (in front of Citigroup Center, and the actual headquarters of Citigroup), 599 Lexington Avenue (green glass tower to the right of Citigroup Center), 520 Madison Avenue (in front of 599 Lexington), and the Alliance Capital Building, site of the world’s first handheld cellular phone call in public.
