General Motors Building, 3:00PM

The fifty story General Motors Building stands near the southeast corner of Central Park, and contains the studios for CBS’ The Early Show, as well as the flagship FAO Schwarz toy store, and flagship Fifth Avenue Apple Store. The striped smokestack on the left is one of four at the Con Edison power plant in Astoria, Queens.
