From left to right: XYZ Buildings, W. R. Grace Building, and GE Building. Partially visible on the right, beyond the GE Building, is the Solow Building at 9 West 57th Street. The Solow Building was also designed by Gordon Bunschaft, architect of the Grace Building, and the two buildings share a similar sloping façade on their north and south sides.
The American Radiator Building can be seen in the left foreground, and the roof of the New York Public Library’s Steven A. Schwartzman Building is visible in the right foreground.
